Adolescent Psychotherapy Services
Adolescence . . . the worst of times and the best of times.
Anyone whose been an adolescent knows the above statement can be true. All teens
struggle with some challenge during these developmentally crucial years. A normal part of
adolescent development is asserting independence from parents, and this makes it hard
for teens to confide in their parents or ask the hard questions they want answered. Their
peers are often helpful, but are also struggling with the same challenges. I provide a safe,
confidential place for adolescents to discuss all of the following concerns:
"The day the child realizes that all adults
are imperfect, he becomes an adolescent;
the day he forgives them, he becomes an
adult; the day he forgives himself, he
becomes wise."
